ALICANTE AIRPORT TO VERA PLAYA
At the Airport set your trip meter to zero.
Leave Alicante Airport following the signs to “Murcia”
At 3km you will join the A7 (E15) motorway heading south. The road from the airport ends on the South bound carriageway of the motorway. Avoid taking the first turning from the Airport, this is the old pre-motorway route. Avoid being drawn into the first northbound slip-road onto the motorway A7 -E15, its easy to do.
After 65 km you pick up the signs for “Almeria”, the Motorway forks here. Follow the signs to Almeria.
After 68 km you take the right lane to again follow signs for Almeria, (Alcantarilla and Granada) the motorway forks again, the other direction is Murcia City Centre.
Continue on the motorway, (ignore the turn off to Granada), at 197.5 km take the exit No 534 to Vera.
At the end of the slip road follow the signs to “Vera”
Just past the “Hotel Agari” on your left (neon lights with dancing girls) at 199.2 km turn Left onto the Vera by-pass (A3327) to “Garrucha”.
At the next trafic island with the “Intermarchá” supermarket facing you, The Bull Ring traffic island, turn Left to Garrucha.
At 203.5 km a little way after a petrol station turn Left, signposted Puerto Rey, Villaricos (minor road).
At the roundabout by the “Esquina de Puerto Rey” Centro Comercial, turn Left, (note, there is a small ‘traffic calming’ roundabout before the end of this road, by the Bahia Fenicia sales office, this is NOT the one where you turn left).
Carry on for 2.2 km to the third traffic island Passing Mexico Hotel. At this traffic island by the “Centro Hispania Shopping Mall” and “ConSum” supermarket turn right on a very short bit of dual carriageway then left at the T junction. Torremar Natura and Bahia de Vera communities are on the left immediately after the bar “Atoda Vuela”. A few hundred metres further take the first turning left (one way), Vera Natura community is on the right and La Menara community is on the left (coloured dark red).
For the other areas continue along the main road past the Shopping Mall and Supermarket island and turn right at the next traffic island The road is signposted “Naturist Area”. This leads to the sea and access to:-
ParqueVera 1, 2, 3 and 4 - first left.
NatSun, Vera Luz and Armony Natura - second left. At the bottom of the road is the beach and the “Sol y Luna” beach bar.
Continuing along the main Garrucha to Villaricos road the next right turn (100 mtrs) takes you to the Vera Playa Club Hotel and all the amenities of Hotel Street.
