BUYING YOUR HOME IN SPAIN
After all the bad publicity in the UK press regarding home buying in Spain, particularly with new-build and off-plan sales, the Spanish government are taking action to tighten up on bogus developers, estate agents and corruption within local and regional authorities.
The laws requiring sales agencies to have available original documentation such as title deeds, planning permissions and services contracts are now being enforced and as a result several local estate agencies have been closed down.
NaturistSpain.com are not involved in new or off-plan sales and strongly recommend that anyone contemplating a purchase in Spain should not part with any monies or sign any documents without first having sight of the original documentation and employing the services of a reputable lawyer.
